Acceptable Use Policy

What you may and may not do on the service.

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do when using SessionBeacon. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. You must not

  • Break any law, or infringe anyone's privacy or intellectual-property rights.
  • Post or upload content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, defamatory, threatening, or sexually exploitative, or that depicts or promotes harm.
  • Impersonate others, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation.
  • Upload malware, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, data or systems.
  • Probe, scan, overload, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure, or circumvent rate limits, authentication or security controls.
  • Scrape, harvest or bulk-export other users' data, or use the service to send spam or unsolicited marketing.
  • Use the service to store or distribute another party's content without permission.

2. Groups & organisers

Group organisers are responsible for the conduct of their group and the content posted within it. Organisers must handle other members' information respectfully and only for the purpose of running the group.

3. Reporting

4. Enforcement

We may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that breach this policy. Where appropriate we will cooperate with law-enforcement authorities.
